The Place For Her (PFH) project is dedicated to uplifting and advocating for professional underrepresented minority women. This initiative, led with pride by minority women, is a beacon of empowerment within the Dutch labor market, emphasizing the importance of inclusion and diversity. Our mission is to amplify the voices of women striving for change and to provide them with the essential tools, resources, and support to close existing gaps. We are committed to dismantling the barriers that hinder the professional and social inclusion of skilled underrepresented minority women in the Netherlands. Too often, qualified minority women and underrepresented communities such as people of colour, LGBTQI+ are confined to roles that do not reflect their expertise or potential. It is time to elevate their voices and drive meaningful change. PFH aims to ensure that talent and competence are recognized and rewarded, fostering a more inclusive and equitable workforce for all.

Confidence and Independence

Through inclusion and advocacy, minority women can build the confidence to speak out and drive meaningful change. Through collaboration with organizations, companies, local businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions, and NGOs, Place for Her works to bridge the gap between gender equality and social and economic integration, ensuring that all women, regardless of their background, can thrive in the Netherlands.
